Studio owner Linda Winterton has been teaching Pilates since 1999. A shoulder injury brought Pilates into her life and she saw the deep, focused & restorative benefits that Pilates offered. Since then she has been teaching the system to all client ranges, and offers both fitness and rehabilitative sessions.

Pilates Inc’s private and small group classes allow you the flexibility to personalize you Pilates session. They allow you to experience highly personalized attention and develop a routine that is specifically designed to meet your needs and help you reach your goals.

Pilates Inc offers an alternative to learning at a fitness facility, or community centre – and is ideal for those who prefer to set up classes with their friends, families, and co-workers under conditions that optimally suit their lifestyles.

STRETCH THERAPY (TM):
Linda met Kit Laughlin in 2003 and experienced his amazing system Stretch Therapy. As of 2018 Linda has completed over 400 hours training with Kit and has hosted many multi-day workshops with Kit presenting his method. Linda is the only senior teacher in Stretch Therapy in Canada. A perfect adjunct to Pilates Stretch Therapy will release asymmetries, restrictive muscular patterns and free the body to truly experience the full benefits of Pilates. Pilates Inc offer both private and small group Stretch Therapy classes.

Laurie’s passion for Pilates began as a personal lifestyle change after suffering with chronic back pain throughout her many varied careers.

Laurie’s caring and compassionate teaching style helps others to discover the many benefits of Pilates and the positive changes that can come about.

She is a personable, empathetic and a dedicated fitness professional.

Melissa Nkomo

Melissa Nkomo

Melissa is a mindful movement and meditation teacher specializing in yin yoga and pilates. Her method focuses on deep strengthening through healthy alignment and functional movement based in anatomical knowledge.

After teaching both private and public classes in Vancouver and Toronto over the past 4 years, Melissa is excited to join the Pilates INC team. Melissa is classically trained in hatha and Yin yoga as well as the clinical STOTT Pilates method.

What Melissa loves most about teaching is the opportunity to challenge and strengthen the body in a loving way, that cultivates a deeper sense of connection, awareness and spaciousness in the body and in life.
